I’ve lived a lot of life. Trauma, divorce, cultural pressure, motherhood, growing professionally from a deep place of healing––and I’ve done most of it with an audience. Never attention-seeking, but so that those around me would know they weren’t alone in carrying hard things.
Women started reaching out to me with their stories, sharing how they’d left toxic jobs, launched the businesses of their dreams, and finally started speaking the quiet parts of themselves out loud.
It was then that I realized I wasn’t just showing up for me anymore.
I was showing up for us.
